calling forth henceforth

here, i call now and always
these things into being

now and always
i call forth
for me and mine
you and yours
  • a world where we live, and want to live.
  • african children, free.
  • african people, free. Black people, free.
  • no wars. no wars.
  • where white or not-men do not tell us who to become.
  • where nobody dictates to us what to become.
  • where we are the masters of our own fate.
  • where we feel good in our days.
  • feel good in our bodies.
  • laughter. lots of laughter.
  • space to heal. space to grow. space.
  • food for all. water for all.
  • earth regeneration and ours too.
  • our needs met.
  • pleasure. pleasure.
  • joy.
  • african peoples at peace in the world.
  • travel without infringement on dignity. the worlds are all ours.
  • reciprocal friendships.
  • wounds healing.
  • flowers and seeds sprouting.
  • money, as we need it.
  • enough to share and go around.
  • our dreams actualised.
  • our lives meaningful. our bodies sacred.
  • new things. fresh things.
  • places to call home. places that feel safe.
  • safety.
  • hope. hope. we shall not despair. hope.
  • gods who care.
  • people who stay. even as the dead, who stay.
  • all we can be. blooming. vast. expansive. able.
  • supported. loved. held. wanted.
